Don't ask about the filling. Just... don't.
An Almost daily source of pictures, stories or parody to keep the Warnickian spirit strong in these tough times. Also, an excuse for us to waste time looking at random things on the web.

Nihongo Slide desuka!

Playgrounds have gotten weak on fun and all about safety since when we were kids. Remember these rockets?
Long since torn down because they were "too dangerous." And because homeless men slept in them at night and gang members left them reeking of pee.
But in Japan, there's a 51 meter long playground slide that's finally a step in the right direction.

The whole damned trail?
Wow. God bless America- and this crazy dude who walked the length of the entire Appalachian Trail, taking 4,000 photos as he went.

Outside: Nerdy and White. Inside: A Storm of Passion!
It's the part of Vivaldi's four seasons we don't hear as often. Summer- with furious storms. On the accordion. And you thought our "Mortal Kombat" post was impressive playing.

A classic game as you're never seen it before.
So cutting edge, it's hard to explain. So retro, its new again. And not.
Oh, just go play!

This is @#$%ing awesome!
OK Go are known for their videos, but this thing is genius. One take (or so it seems, with what are probably 2 or 3 perfectly hidden edits). Supremely fabulous. 95% Warnickian. What a delight.

Even Better than Southwest? Why, yes.
Flight 299 to - but wait- what's this? Music? Techno?
Katy Perry?
To any sensitive female readers, especially wives, I can only say, what a terrible shame these women have to degrade themselves like this to keep their jobs.
To men and women with a sense of humor: Wow! That was fun- and oh, just a weeee! bit sexy. Would it be so bad if more airlines did this?
For now though, since this was a Philippine airline, you'll only see this when flying from Manila to Bacolod, Calbayog, Catarman, Cebu, Kalibo, Legaspi or Tuguegarao.

Gravity is their B#%&@.
I am saddened to think that in the years to come we will never be so creative, stupid, brave and bright all at the same time as this bunch of guys. That's not entirely a bad thing. But still, if only...

Imagine what the guy could do with two pens!
Okay, dig this: a guy reproduces a famous oil painting by hand, with the most common of tools.
Very, very, very cool.

Gravity, Electromagetism, and . . . Funky backbeats?
Ahh... this is more like it. Destined to be on this blog. Wk rating of 79%. A nice twist at the end.

For the bastards who oppose healthcare reform again and again....
Another more serious aside.
Yes, fine, Oblerman's the devil, blah blah blah. I've heard it before, and this is different. This is powerful stuff, with two messages in it: one for planning ahead for serious care, and one damming those who put the wealth Insurance corporations over the needs of Americans. For those who mutter bitter propaganda about death panels and think Sarah Palin is worthy of any time at all, I throw down the gauntlet and say "watch this, for he is speaking to YOU."
Perhaps some of the best oration by a TV anchor in a decade.
