Feel good song and video of the month.

Sometimes a supportive message such as "be yourself and don't worry about how other people judge your dancing"  is so cloying and cliche it fails.   Not this video by Aya Coren for "Lo Osim Et Zeh Kahcah/ It's not done that way."   A catchy pop tune with a wonderful video even includes a bit of  hip hope question and answer time.    To be played loud.

Gloriously Weird. Play it to wake up your kids.

Dance to it.  Or not.  But listen to the whole thing and you will say "one abu wabu abu" to someone in the next day, I promise.

I dare you to listen to it . . . twice.

From the most excellent of blogs Carl Sandburg Visits Me in a Dream (which is still occasionally updated even while the dude is in medical school!) came my discovery of The Asteroids. This song of thiers is so catchy, that if you listen to it more than once... it may get stuck in your head. Forever!

But who can listen to it just once? Eeeeek! 85% Warnickian!

Oh, so very Warnickian.

I mean, this is at least 90%. It's folk dancing and math, for crying out loud! Here, watch.

Intensely Warnickian- and you can dance to it!

It's 92% Warnickian: it's got a beat, it's got time-slappy visuals, it's from Japan, and... oh yeah, they ride around in a mini-van. What else do you need?
